Collection of Ukrainian Jewelry Art

Created between 2023 and the present, the collection stands as a cultural testament to a time of war. It brings together works by both renowned and emerging designers who use jewellery to reflect on Ukrainian history, identity, and the strength of heritage. At its core is a reimagining of traditions, symbols of unity, and connections to past generations. From the Trypillia civilisation to the industrial heritage of Donbas, these pieces are more than adornments — they are carriers of memory and resistance. In a time when monuments and cultures face destruction, the Foundation supports artists who preserve living history through form, material, and meaning. These works are not only personal expressions but future artefacts that capture the voice of an era, its pain, and the resilience of the Ukrainian people.

CHAPTER 2023

How Precious UA

The first chapter is a profound embodiment of Ukraine’s cultural landscape, reflected through exquisite jewelry artistry.

It brings together five outstanding Ukrainian brands and designers – NOMIS, Inesa Kovalova, Drutis Jewellery, Gunia Project, and Yuval’ Studios – who, through their work, explore the intersection of the country's past, present, and future. These pieces are not only a testament to impeccable craftsmanship but also a symbolic reflection of national identity, merging traditional motifs with contemporary design.

CHAPTER 2024

Beyond Time

For this chapter, the S&P Foundation commissioned works from both emerging and established Ukrainian jewelry artists, inviting them to reinterpret the history and culture of the Trypillia civilization through artistic creations free from commercial constraints.

Themes of cultural identity, national unity and strength, as well as a deep connection to previous generations, permeate the narrative and unify the collection.

CHAPTER 2025

Volyn Gems

It is the next jewellery chapter by four emerging Ukrainian designers — Julie Kleom, Olena Yastreb, Olga Vynogradova, and Oleksandra Kuzenkova — developed through a competition by the Strong & Precious Art Foundation.

Created in collaboration with Volyn Gems, the pieces feature rare Ukrainian beryls, heliodors, and topazes from the Volodar-Volynskyi deposit. Each design reinterprets Ukrainian heritage through contemporary forms, drawing on mythology, tradition, and landscape.

The jewels reflect a deep connection to the land and celebrate the resilience, identity, and creativity of Ukraine’s new generation of artists.

CHAPTER 2026

Ukrainian Avant-Garde

The jewellery is dedicated to the heritage of the Ukrainian avant-garde of the 1920s–1930s. The designers reinterpret its defining principles — geometry, dynamism, and experimentation with form, space, and materials — through the language of contemporary jewellery.

The chapter features works by AGA.TE Jewelry, Igor Pinigin, Anna Glanskova, and Lobortas Jewellery House, created as part of an open competition by the Foundation, alongside works by invited designers, including Iryna Karpova. The project explores the connection between Ukrainian artistic heritage and contemporary design, showing how the ideas of the avant-garde continue to resonate with a new generation of Ukrainian artists.
